(It is advisable to arrive 10 minutes before the meet/start time) - Description: A variant of a walk from October 2022 provides another chance to enjoy the Black Mountains from their northern end.. We will visit the 'friendless' St Ellyw's Church (and its whipping tree) and Rhos Fach common, before ascending Mynydd Bycan en route to Waun Fach. We then descent to the hamlet of Waun Fach to traverse Mynydd Troed prior to our return to Talgarth via Pwll-y-Wrach nature reserve.
- Notes: Some long and steep climbs, combining to around 4500ft of overall ascent, will test the legs and lungs.

(It is advisable to arrive 10 minutes before the meet/start time) - Description: Our summer group epic - The Epynt Way in one go. A wild and interesting route on generally good paths going (safely) around a military training area. Fabulous scenery and remoteness.
- Notes: This route is tough and very committed, with no escape route back to start. Water from streams on route (need to purify). No other facilities apart from, oddly, a fine selection of toilets.... Early start to make most of daylight. Expect at least 18 hours and 1am finish, so bring torch. To join this walk please contact Mike and convince him (if he doesn't know you) that you have the necessary fitness and experience.
