- Description: A tough winter 50 mile walk for experienced South Wales LDWA members only. Self supported but with the potential for a mobile checkpoint. 6200 ft ascent.

It is on paths throughout the route but it is in the middle of winter and walkers will need to be fully equipped with winter equipment and this will include torches for both advertised distances. Attendees will have to make arrangements to return to Undy if they decide to leave the walk.

- Description: Limber up for spring in the Black Mountains. A tough start over Chwarel y Fan into the Vale of Ewyas and then over Offa's Dyke into the Ochon Valley. Up the Catsback to Black Hill and then a long sweep over the tops to Hay Bluff, Twmpa, Rhos Dirion, Waun Fach, and Pen Cerrig Calch, Across to Pen Twyn Mawr and finish on Pen y Gadair Fawr. A very tough walk, will finish in the dark, full winter gear please.
- Notes: This route has a number of escape options, the most obvious being a descent down the Grwyne Fawr valley back to the start - about 20 miles circular. You are welcome to join the walk for part of the way and navigate your own way back.

- Description: You may not have seen the Gower this way - take in the inland moorland, ridges and hills with fine views and then finish on the spectacular coastline. This walk is the 'son' of the old Gower Gallop.

- Description: A new route from Abergavenny to Chepstow. Following on from the success of "Travelling Riverside Blues" & "Down By The Seaside", here is another opportunity to walk across the county. A late evening / night time exploration of Blorenge & Coity Mountain. Then to Pontypool & Usk and a return to Chepstow along the Usk Valley, Wentwood and Gaer Hill arriving back in Chepstow between 4pm and 6pm. Walk has 8110 ft of climbing.
- Notes: Replenish in Pontypool after 18 miles (24 hour garage) & Usk after 30 miles. Walkers to take personal responsibility should they need to leave the walk by arranging to get themselves back to Chepstow. Contact David Morgan to book space on bus. Non South Wales LDWA members £5. The walk will finish at a pub in Chepstow and have a meal. It is perfectly feasible for members to use the train to reach Chepstow and to let the train take the strain at the end of this long walk!
